Beirut, “East Harlem”

I can't get enough of "East Harlem," just released as a 7" single and slated for inclusion on Beirut's forthcoming album The Rip Tide, due August 30 on the band's own Pompeii Records. Maybe it's the ukelele. Or the trumpet. Or the piano, if we're counting up all the instruments in the song. No, let's not do that. But it all works so well together to accompany lead singer Zach Condon's vocals, which are just priceless here.

Good stuff:

You can buy the 7" here, or head to iTunes for digital versions of "East Harlem" and its b-side, "Goshen":

P.S.  Tried to get the wife to dance with me during this song, but as I've stated previously, she doesn't really like music.
